Franco Zavarise was born in Mareeba, Australia in 1960. After finishing his technical studies, he developed his great desire: to create lighting structures for his old friends.

In 1982 he founded the dynamic and continuously growing ZAVA. He believes in great, affordable and sustainable design.

Following his natural instinct for design, Franco Zavarise from the beginning combines his long experience in metal processing with a great passion for lighting.

In its headquarters coexist craftsmanship and avant-garde technology, while the work outlined by machinery of latest generation is shaped by a wise and irreplaceable manual workmanship.
