Led by Todd Stevenson and Andrea Harradine, Powersurge operate in a space bridging art and engineering. Inspired by the landscape of Aotearoa and the ever evolving properties of his materials, Stevenson crafts impeccably refined pieces that transcend trend.
Over the years the team have collaborated with many of New Zealand’s most acclaimed architects and interior designers, and built enduring relationships which inform their ongoing design practice.

Trizo21
In 2001, with 15 years of carefully acquired know-how and expertise, Bruno Van Meenen founded his company for designing and manufacturing architectural lighting. At the time, the Trizo21 objective stood for personally designed and developed light fittings of high quality. We wanted to make fittings that were modest and perfectionist with an optimistic twist. Trizo21 believes architectural lighting should be pure and stripped of unnecessary frills.
The Austere collection is a collaboration with Architect Hans Verstuyft ‘Austere’ can mean sleek, linear and/or stripped of excess. And also slender and tranquil just like an ethereal silhouette. It can’t get purer than this. Complete coverage and absolutely discrete. This design from lighting designer Hans Verstuyft won the Henry van de Velde award in 2015. The AUSTERE is gracious, clearly practical. Its beam of light is like a Chinese lantern, a small and simple lamp that feels natural in any location.
ZAVA
Franco Zavarise was born in Mareeba, Australia in 1960. After finishing his technical studies, he developed his great desire: to create lighting structures for his old friends. In 1982 he founded the dynamic and continuously growing ZAVA. He believes in great, affordable and sustainable design.
GRAU
GRAU is an interdisciplinary team of 150 employees designing products, lighting experiences and exhibitions. As the leading avant-garde in the industry, the company has been developing and producing every luminaire at its headquarters in Hamburg for three decades. Since the handover of Creative Direction and Management from Tobias Grau to his sons Timon Grau and Melchior Grau in 2021, the repositioned GRAU brand focuses on smart luminaires with sensual lighting experiences.
Cangini & Tucci
Cangini and Tucci have a long history from founding in 1961, the Master Gino Luigi Cangini begun manufacturing precious blown glass completely by hand. Each piece of production is truly unique, authentic and handcrafted in Italy. For this reason the size of the objects may vary a few millimetres from the catalogue, however adding value and guaranteeing its authenticity.
Bomma
BOMMA transforms interiors with handcrafted sculptural lighting that creates a distinct mood in each space – from eye-catching centerpieces and installations to soft ambient light. Their glassmakers are the best from among Czech talent pool. In this case In this case, ‘best’ means talented, experienced and able to hand-blow crystal in monumental sizes. All BOMMA crystal lighting is hand-made, often redefining what is physically and technically possible.
