The lighting layout that we used throughout the library incorporated low profile, highly efficient 2 x 28w T5 fluorescent pendants. These provided an energy efficient downlight as well as a soft uplight component. We designed a zigzag layout pattern which helped to achieve a relaxed, even lighting effect. The lighting design will also be able to work with the libraries need to change shelving layouts in the future.
